After a successful career as a business executive, Rosie embraced a lifelong passion for art following her retirement. During her years as an executive officer for a manufacturing company, she traveled extensively around the world. Whenever time allowed, she sought out museums and galleries, finding inspiration in the beauty, history, and diversity of art from different cultures. She also began collecting handcrafted ceramic mugs from her travels, developing a deep appreciation for fine craftsmanship and artistic expression.

A year after retiring, Rosie picked up a paintbrush for the first time, initially exploring acrylic painting simply as a way to relax and enjoy the creative process. She soon discovered a natural talent for color, composition, and design. Her artistic journey continued with pottery the following year, and several years later she found her true passion in oil painting.

Dedicated to continual growth, Rosie has studied with many distinguished artists, including Kathy Anderson, Randy Sexton, Pat Fiorello, Kevin Macpherson, Michael Shane Neal, Rose Frantzen, and Guang Ho through workshops and online mentorship. Their guidance, combined with countless hours of practice, has helped shape her distinctive artistic voice.

Today, Rosie works full-time as an artist, creating paintings, drawings, and pottery from her studio. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Adirondacks, the changing light on the landscape, and the people and places that touch her heart, she strives to create artwork that is both expressive and timeless. She finds great joy in the creative process and hopes her paintings evoke a sense of beauty, warmth, and connection for those who view them.

Rosie’s work has been commissioned by private collectors and has been exhibited and sold through local galleries and personal referrals. She is a member of the Oil Painters of America, the Portrait Society of America, Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council, the Adirondack Plein Air Group, and NCA.
